Meet our esteemed leaders, Pastor Innocent Utulu and Pastor Christy Innocent-Utulu, both seasoned Attorneys trained at the University of Lagos, Nigeria, and called to the Nigerian Bar. While Pastor Innocent Utulu is currently a Texas licensed Attorney, he is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, London (FCIS) and a Theology postgraduate.
Their journey began in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), transitioning from attorneys to impactful ministry leaders. They've not only practiced law up to the Supreme Court of Nigeria but also pioneered and built numerous churches, including the first purpose-built cathedral of the RCCG-Maranatha Chapel, Gbagada Lagos.
Pastor Innocent Utulu served as Provincial Pastor, overseeing more than a hundred churches, and was instrumental in envisioning The COVENANT SANCTUARY, a 10,000-seat auditorium. In 2010, he assumed the position of Regional Pastor for Region 14, covering about nine hundred parishes.
Beyond Nigeria, the couple sent missionaries to various parts of the world, inaugurating a house fellowship in Dubai, which later became the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Maranatha International Parish.
They are currently the Senior Pastors of RCCG, Mercy Hall Katy Texas, and have authored seven books. Their dedication to the next generation is evident through the operation of four elementary schools in Nigeria.
This dynamic duo passionately serves in ministry, fulfilling a divine mandate to transform lives spiritually and materially. Pastor Innocent and Christy Utulu, happily married, are blessed with three wonderful children: Chiedu, Grace of God, and Oseloke.
